Hikayenin kötü adamı Çağrı Saray, 14 Ocak - 5 Şubat tarihleri arasında Daire'de yeni kişisel sergisi ile ortaya çıkıyor!
Sinemasal anlatıyı temel alarak çekim senaryolarından oluşan metinlerin güncel sanatın resim, fotoğraf, video ve enstalasyon gibi farklı mediumlarıyla yeniden üretimine odaklanan yapıtlar, Çağrı Saray’ın seri işlerinin son izdüşümü niteliğinde. Sanat izleyicisinin hiç de yabancısı olmadığı bu triptik hikaye, izleyicileri geçmişin hayaletleriyle yüzleşmeye, evlerinin tarihini yeniden sorgulamaya ve alternatif bir bellek algısının üretimine davet ediyor. Çağrı Saray bu son sergisiyle sanat izleyiciyicisini 2009’da gerçekleştirdiği “Bekleme Odası”nın ve 2004’de gerçekleştirdiği “Kırmızı Oda” projelerinin öncesine götürüyor ve sondan başa doğru anlattığı hikayesini “Hikayenin Kötü Adamı Benim!” isimli sergi ile bitirirken halka tamamlanıyor, rezonans sona eriyor.
Çağrı Saray’s latest projection on his serial works are a reproduction of scenario based texts through the different mediums of contemporary art such as drawing, photography, video and installation. The tryptic story, invites the art audiences to face the ghosts of the past, question the history of their home and produce an alternative perception of memory. In this exhibition Çağrı Saray takes the audiences to what was previous to the storyline of his past two exhibitions, “Waiting Room” in 2009 and “The Red Room” in 2004. With this final wrap up titled “I am the Villain in the Story” the artist closes the circle by rewinding the story from the end to the beginning.
